Publication Launching in Cambodia
A
new publication designed for visitors to Cambodia will soon be
distributed for free at tourist locations throughout Phnom
Penh Siem Reap. "Leisure Cambodia "will cover
Cambodian attractions, according to Red Dot, company launching
the paper, which hopes to make visitors aware of national
sites and customs. Red Dot Director John Seow also said he
wants to show Cambodians the country's tourism potential.
"We want to serve
[tourists] and to remind [local] people of what
specialty each region of this country has, because local
people sometimes don't know about their environment, "he
said. The tabloid-format paper is expected to come out each
month starting May 1. The 4,470 copies will be distributed at
airports, hotels, restaurants and other tourist-related sites.
The Ministry of Information issued the license for
"Leisure Cambodia" on March 26, More than 200
publications currently circulate in
Cambodia.
