To Train Phnom Penh Traffic Police
Establishing
direct flights from Phnom Penh to Beijing and training Cambodian
traffic police were among the subjects discussed during a three-day
visit to China led by Phnom Penh Governor Chea Sophara.
Beijing officials agreed to grant training scholarships for
Phnom Penh traffic police in the coming year, said Om Sam El,
assistant to Chea Sophara.
Phnom Penh and Beijing
also agreed to share their experiences in city development and
to strengthen the relationship between the two capitals.
The Phnom Penh delegation also visited
King Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Norodom Monineath, who are staying
in Beijing for about a month.
