Telecoms, which aborted its plan to enter the Cambodia market due to
the 1997 regional financial crisis,
has
renewed its attempt to set up shop in Phnom Penh. Ambassador Lee Wun
Hyoung met with the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. So

Originally
Korea Telecoms had planned to enter into partnership with Malaysian
owned Tricelcom to offer mobile phone service.
Tricelcom
had since become insolvent and its remaining customers have been
transferred to Malaysian-majority owned Samart. |
